A tech pack is the instruction manual a factory uses to make your garment exactly as designed. A clear tech pack means fewer sample rounds, fewer mistakes and faster production.
What a tech pack includes
- Flat sketches: front, back and side views with construction details called out.
- Measurements: a size chart with points of measure and tolerances.
- Bill of materials: fabric, thread, zippers, buttons, labels and trims, with colors and Pantone codes.
- Construction details: stitch types, seams, pockets and hems.
- Artwork and placement: logo files, sizes and exact positions for print or embroidery.
- Labels and packaging: label placement, hang tags and folding instructions.
